EDSS

 

EDSS develops software for distributors to enhance their ability to estimate, schedule, order, and deliver architectural hardware, wood doors, and hollow metal doors and frames. Currently, EDSS offers four products, namely, PRO-TECH Door, Frame, and Hardware System, CURRIES Order Writing(COW), Graham Wood Order Writing(WOW), and CURRIES Frame Estimating System. 

The PRO-TECH Door, Frame, and Hardware System is a computer software package for hardware specifications, estimating, scheduling (creating submittal documents), ordering, receiving, and shipping architectural hardware, wood doors, and hollow metal doors and frames. It is used for contract jobs where contract estimates and submittal documents are required. PRO-TECH is designed as a direct takeoff system for architectural hardware, wood doors, and hollow metal doors and frames. PRO-TECH generates door, frame, and hardware estimates and schedules. From the schedule entry (detailing), doors, frames, and hardware are automatically coordinated and cost reports, shop reports, schedules (submittal documents), and orders are derived. Hardware catalogs from Sargent, McKinney, HES, Securitron, Yale, Corbin Russwin, Norton, Rixson, Folger-Adams, Medeco, Schlage, Von Duprin, LCN, Locknetics, Dor-o-matic, Hager, Pemko, National Guard, Rockwood, Reese, and Trimco are provided.  PRO-TECH is integrated with Microsoft's Navision and Solomon accounting systems.

PRO-TECH is available for Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows XP operating systems. It can function as a standalone system or be used in a network.
